KS1 children rolled and flattened air drying clay to produce these turtles. They used combs, straws and other mark making tools to create patterns on their backs and then stuck in beads and buttons.
These KS2 children had a go at recreating the cross hatching style found on Australian bark paintings.
I gave the children card outlines of Australian animals to draw around onto sugar paper. They then used oil pastels to add the lines. Some used a ruler to help them.
