BLOCK PRINTING
These children cut out shapes from thin poly-board and added detail by carefully drawing lines with a pencil. The poly-board shapes were then glued onto wooden blocks, (if you are short for time, you could also stick on with double sided tape).
Once dry, the children painted block printing ink onto the shape and then printed onto fabric. If you use a brush to apply the ink it gives more even results.
Further detail can then be added using brushes and other mark making tools.
